Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to two morning crashes Tuesday, one in which a tractor-trailer sideswiped a car and drove off.
Loretta M. Watkins, 67, of Lakeview, told deputies she was eastbound on U.S. Route 33 near County Road 57 when the semi drifted into her lane and struck her car around 4:50 a.m.
Damage was minor and she was uninjured.
• Trenton H. Neeld, 18, of Bellefontaine, was cited for failure to control following a 6:45 a.m. crash on State Route 47 west of Township Road 135.
He was eastbound when his car went off the left side of the road flipped over into a ditch.
He was uninjured and damage was moderate to the car.
