Kenton Ridge’s girls basketball team took control early on against host Benjamin Logan on Saturday and cruised to a 75-55 win in Central Buckeye Conference action.

The loss snaps a seven-game winning streak for the Raiders, who fall to 11-5 overall and 6-2 in the CBC. The Cougars improve to 10-7 overall and 8-2 in the league.
Jamari McDavid poured in 36 points and Mikala Morris had 20 points to fuel the Cougars.
Kenton Ridge led 20-4 midway through the first quarter and held a 24-14 advantage at the end of the first period.
The Cougars used a 19-12 run in the second quarter to build a 43-26 cushion.
The third quarter saw Kenton Ridge edge Ben Logan 16-13, which made it a 59-39 advantage. The Raiders matched the Cougars 16-16 in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t make up any further ground.
