Coral Marie Reames, 83, of Rushsylvania, passed away Thursday morning, May 12, 2016, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born in Logan County on April 14, 1933, to the late Clyde McGuffey and Viola Mae Lowery Bullock. She married Carl Manford Reames on Sept. 20, 1953, in Belle Center and he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 2011.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Bullock; and sister-in-law, Christine Bullock.
A 1950 graduate of Belle Center High School, she attended the Elkhart Business University where she studied to be a medical secretary. She later worked several years at Lima Memorial Hospital as a pathology lab secretary.
She enjoyed babysitting, sewing, candle wicking, quilting, making rugs and collecting dolls. She always remembered birthdays and sent cards to her family and friends. She was an active member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Melinda) Reames of West Liberty, Mike (Dee) Reames of Zanesfield, Chris (Nancy) Reames of Bellefontaine and Doug (Pam) Reames of Rushsylvania; two stepsons, Harland (Sandra) Reames of Branson, Mo., and Charlie (Kathy) Reames of Simpsonville, S.C.; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Ida) Bullock of Rusk, Texas, Roger (Sandy) Bullock of Belle Center and Phill Bullock of West Liberty; a sister-in-law, Marlene Bullock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center. Pastor David Moore officiates a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, in Belle Center Fairview Cemetery.
