Jesse L. Reinhold, 18, of Zanesfield, was cited for failure to yield following a crash Thursday morning at County Road 32 and State Route 47.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a southbound pickup on C.R. 32 about 8:45 a.m. when he attempted to make a left-hand turn at the intersection. His pickup struck the side of a northbound pickup operated by Raymond E. Heaberlin, 43, of Urbana.
The impact forced the Heaberlin vehicle off the north side of the intersection, and the Reinhold vehicle off the east side of the intersection.
No injuries were reported, and damage was heavy to both vehicles. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Dog owner issued summons
Dylan Lucas, 25, of 320 North St., West Liberty, was issued a summons for dog at large related to an incident June 10 in West Liberty.
Deputies received a report from Liz Hudson, 313 Washington St., West Liberty, who said a dog was running loose on her street and that the dog had been chasing people and acting aggressively.
Deputies located the dog, and determined that Mr. Lucas was the dog’s owner.
Teen lodged for domestic violence
A 13-year-old West Mansfield girl was charged with domestic violence Thursday evening after deputies responded to her residence about 9 p.m.
Her mother reported that the teen had been using her cell phone in an inappropriate manner. When confronted by her mother, the girl reportedly began slamming doors and allegedly pushed her mother and her cousin. No injuries were reported.
She was transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
Vehicle vandalism reported
Cody A. Hopkins of Waynesfield reported about 2:30 a.m. today that someone broke out a window of his pickup while it was parked at Captain’s Point, 305 E. Harrison Ave., Lakeview.
He named possible suspects.

Motorcyclist injured in U.S. 68 crash
Dale Jorgensen, age unavailable, of Belle Center, was transported by Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash about 9:50 p.m. Thursday.
The motorcyclist was then transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report.
Mr. Jorgensen reportedly was operating a northbound motorcycle on U.S. Route 68 south of County Road 57 when he struck a road closed sign. Troopers report he was not wearing a helmet.
Medical helicopter response was requested for the crash scene, but helicopters reportedly were unable to respond because of weather conditions.
The crash remains under investigation, and no citations have yet been issued.
