A shed at the Church of the Open Bible 516 Eastern Ave., was recently vandalized, according to a Sunday report filed with officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Two sides were caved in and a door was damaged from efforts to pry it open.
• Kyle M. Stewart, 556 E. Chillicothe Ave., reported Sunday back window of his car was shattered by a thrown rock while parked overnight.
• Sutton Paige Kimbrell, 813 Heritage Court, Apt. 7, reported Saturday her car was hit by another vehicle while parked at complex.
Thefts reported to police
Timothy Wayne Shaw, 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 76, reported Saturday a named female suspect took cash from his residence. Officers are attempting to reach the suspect who lives in Springfield.
• Marie A. Lefever of Bellefontaine recently reported a named male suspect made charges on her credit card without her permission.
• Misty Hoffman, 301 W. Sandusky Ave., reported Friday a shipment of her heart medication was stolen from her mailbox.
Citations issued in crashes
Alivia Purtee, 19, of Bellefontaine, was cited for a marked lanes violation after a 5:55 p.m. crash Monday on Main Street near Maple Avenue.
According to crash reports, she attempted to switch from the inside southbound lane into the curb lane and her car struck an sport utility vehicle operated by Faith W. Obonyo, 56, of Bellefontaine.
Damage was moderate.
• Robert B. Ferguson, 58, of Bellefontaine, was cited Monday for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Officers report he was operating a northbound car which struck the rear of a car operated by Susan K. Pine, 73, of Bellefontaine, at 1:10 p.m. on Main Street at Columbus Avenue.
Damage was light.
