Chris M. Fleming, 66, of Argenta, passed away March 7, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Chris’ life will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur.
Chris was born Sept. 12, 1953, in Kenton, the son of Harry Robert and Ruth Izora (Sloan) Fleming. He married Sharlene Staggs on Aug. 22, 1981, in Harristown, Ill.
He worked for many years at United Utility Supply as a warehouse supervisor. Chris loved sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Louisville Cardinals and was a WWE fan. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Chris is survived by his wife, Sharlene; children, Heather (Terry) Goforth of Decatur , Brandy (Michael) Ray of Argenta, Christal (Jeremy) Huddleston of Decatur; grandchildren, Kayla (Drew), Rachel (Joran), Logan, Payton, Abby and Lucas; siblings, Cheryl (Daren) Fogle of Kenton, Steve Fleming of Louisville, Ky., Michael (Jeannie) Fleming of Louisville, Ky.; sister-in-law, Tammy Fleming of West Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gregg and Kim Fleming; sisters-in-law, Sharon and Jill; and a grandson, Connor.
