A loss to Logan County rival Benjamin Logan on Tuesday was a tough blow for Bellefontaine’s boys basketball team. Head coach Jason Calton wants to make sure there is no carryover as his team prepares for the stretch run of the regular season.
“I feel like it is already behind us,” said Calton. “We had a good discussion in the locker room and our guys were excited to get back on the court Wednesday and move forward. The good thing about basketball is you don’t have to wait long before you get a chance to redeem yourself.”
The Chiefs (15-4, 10-1) host a Kenton Ridge team on Friday that has yet to win a game this season.
“We can’t take anybody lightly,” said Calton. “We have to go in with the right mindset, focusing more on what we do. We have to get back to doing the things we’ve done all year. We have to limit our turnovers and rebound.”
