Bellefontaine senior standout Dezmin Lyburtus punched two more regional berths during the final day of the Division I boys track and field meet Friday in Piqua.

Lyburtus, who qualified to the regionals by placing third in the high jump on Wednesday, finished in the top four in both the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles on Friday to advance to next week’s regional meet.
The top four placers in each event earned regional berths.
In Friday night’s finals, Lyburtus placed third in the 110 hurdles (14.71) and fourth in the 300 hurdles (40.46).
He was the lone Chieftain on Friday to get a regional berth. The Chiefs’ D.J. McDonald took fourth in the discus Wednesday to move on.
