Charles “Chaley” Keith Brown, 62, of Bellefontaine, and formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, Jan. 6, 2020. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, April 4, 1957, to the late Lottie Mae Brown and George Lee Brown.
Along with his parents, Chaley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hattie Miller; sisters, Wynema Hill and Charlene Brown; and a nephew, who was like a son, Hakeem Brown.
He is survived by his sisters, Gloria Brown and Marquita Brown; brothers, Darnell Brown, George Brown, and Eugene Brown; two nieces who were like daughters, Tomika Brown and Dominique Belling.
Chaley worked as a volunteer firefighter and for Pizza Hut for many years. He lived his life for Jesus and his family. Chaley had a kind heart and spirit that brought joy to anyone who met him.
Pastor Karen Cane officiates a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at the Great Christ Temple, 616 W. Chillicothe Ave., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
