Carolyn Eileen Tuttle, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
She was born in Logan County, Ohio on September 2, 1946, the daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Opal Dayle (McPherson) Hollopeter.
Carolyn is survived by two sons; Darrin (Bruce) Dill of San Francisco, CA and James (Kimberly) Tuttle of Jupiter, FL, two grandsons; Kyle and Austin Tuttle, four siblings; Marilyn Huffman of West Mansfield, Nancy Ledley of Ridgeway, John (Toni) McPherson and D. Tim McPherson all of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law; Meril Huffman and Lauren Ledley, and a nephew Greg Ledley.
Carolyn attended Bellefontaine City Schools and was a licensed LPN and worked at Mary Rutan Hospital for many years. She also attended the Church of the Brethren in Bellefontaine. Carolyn loved to bird watch, go on walks, lay in the sun, go to the beach, and just spending time outdoors. She enjoyed traveling, especially to California or Florida, to visit her sons.
The Tuttle family would like to thank Dr. Gleason and the staff at Logan Acres for their loving care.
Carolyn’s wish was to be cremated and the family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
