Greeneview’s girls basketball team dropped visiting Triad 57-45 on Thursday in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.
The Cardinals are now 3-8 overall and 1-6 in the OHC, while the Rams boost their mark to 11-2, 6-1.
Greeneview jumped out to a 16-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Triad edged the Rams 7-5 in the second quarter, but still trailed 21-13 entering halftime.
The Rams stayed in control during the third quarter to lead 40-29. Greeneview wrapped up the win by clipping Triad 17-16 in the fourth quarter.
Jenna Ober led the Cardinals with 17 points and Tori Thomas tallied 12 points.
In junior varsity action, Greeneview defeated Triad 41-22.
Triad travels to Northeastern on Saturday for another OHC contest.
