Calvary Christian’s girls basketball team went 1-2 to place fourth in a tournament at Wapakoneta last weekend.
The Spartans fell to the eventual champion Ohio Eagles 44-13 in the first game. Calvary bounced back with a 49-34 win over Sidney Christian in the second round and then fell to Harlan Christian 43-40.
In the first game, Mataya Penhorwood had four points for the Spartans and Katie Thompson had 12 rebounds and nine blocks.
