Calvary Christian’s girls basketball team handled host Lima Temple Christian for a 62-32 non-league win Saturday.
The Spartans improve to 8-1 on the season.
Calvary Christian led 26-10 after the opening quarter and never trailed the rest of the game.
“Over the last few games I have been impressed with our team ball,” said Calvary head coach Eli Carter. “Our team defense is setting us apart from the teams we play and offensively other players are stepping up to the plate. Elisha Carter sets the pace for us but others are filling in at key moments.”
Carter led the Spartans with 31 points and seven steals, while Marjorie Boy had 13 points and five steals.
Calvary Christian travels to Gilead Christian today for an Ohio Valley Christian Conference game.
