Calvary Christian’s varsity boys basketball team captured the ICSO league tournament in Wapakoneta last weekend.
The Spartans took on Bowling Green Christian on Saturday in the semifinal round and won 65-55.
Calvary led 21-6 at halftime and 38-24 at halftime.
Bowling Green Christian closed to within two points in the second half, but the Spartans fought off the surge to get the win.
Daniel Wilt paced the Spartans with 15 points. Tyler Reinhard had 11 points and seven rebounds, Andrew Reinhard recorded 11 points and nine rebounds and Blake Wenger had nine points.
Calvary then played top-seeded Grand Lake Christian in the championship game Saturday night. The two teams split a pair of regular-season games and were co-champions of the league.
