A Riverside Local School District bus was heavily damaged Thursday when it rolled down an upper parking lot at Wren’s Service, 427 W. Miami St., DeGraff, and over a retaining wall around 12:30 p.m.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report the bus was unoccupied at the time. It appears a parking brake on the 2004 Freightliner chassis bus was not set.
The runaway bus was stopped when it hung up on the retaining wall.
