The Ohio Virtual Academy and the Logan County Helping Hands 4-H Club are collecting winter clothing items through the morning of Feb. 25 for The Big Chill Winter Warmth Project.
Local drop-off points include the Logan County OSU Extension Office, 1100 S. Detroit St., Bellefontaine, and all six locations of the Logan County Libraries.
Suggested donations of new or gently used items include gloves, scarves, hats, coats, boots, heavy socks, sweatshirts and sweatpants, fleece throws, sleeping bags, lap robes, quilts and blankets.
Donations will benefit veterans in need through the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.
