Beulah M. English, 101, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Campbell Place Assisted Living in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born on April 12, 1920 in East Liberty, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmo G. and Mazy D. (Reames) Curl.
On April 12, 1941, Beulah married Louis George “Bud” English, and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, George Meredith; and two great grandchildren, Lane Smith, and Lindsay Meredith.
Beulah is survived by her three daughters, Marsha Meredith, Barbara (Robert) Jacobs, and Teresa (James) Zedeker; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A graduate of East Liberty High School, Beulah had worked for D.A.B. for 25 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, Logan County Friendly Senior Center, American Legion Auxiliary, and had been a member of the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild for 30 years. Beulah was an avid seamstress for the community.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, May 3. 2021 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street in Bellefontaine, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
