URBANA — Marianne Williamson, an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer, addresses Urbana University’s annual event to commemorate the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and the area’s native daughter who perished as a result of the acts of violence.
The Community Day of Remembrance begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, hosted by the Alicia Titus Memorial Peace Fund.

Alicia Titus, daughter of John and Bev Titus of the St. Paris area, was a flight attendant on United Flight 175, which was flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. She was a graduate of Graham High School and Miami University; she also attended Urbana University. Mr. Titus is a native of Logan County.
