Valedictorians Saber Davidson and Daniel Meier imparted words of wisdom Friday during commencement exercises at Benjamin Logan High School, urging their fellow graduates to “embrace your differences” and “enjoy the ride” ahead of them.

Saber, who described herself as a misfit and unpopular, said she never let it bother her and encouraged children in the audience to embrace their differences.
“I was never popular and I am not afraid to admit I was bullied,” she began. “But I had made a decision at a young age that I would rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
“For any kids in the crowd that are mocked for being who they are, I want to let you know that you are amazing, and you can and will do great things,” using her outcome as class co-valedictorian status as proof.
