He is fond of his time working with BHS coaches Bob Robison, Dean White, H.A. Dodd and Ron Fenik.
Marine made countless friends while covering Chieftain athletics. One of his personal favorite Chieftains to cover was star athlete Jesse Williams. The pair developed a strong bond during their time together and remain close to this day.
Among his other favorites were Dave, Steve and Scott Robinson, who all went on to play college football at Ohio University.
Careful not to embarrass a player in the newspaper, Marine valued respect and sportsmanship in his coverage of the Chieftains.
