Bellefontaine’s girls and boys track and field teams dominated a home meet Thursday inside AcuSport Stadium against West Liberty-Salem’s boys and North Union.

The Chieftain girls overwhelmed the Wildcats 258-42 in their meet and won 15 of 17 events. The Chieftain boys won with 198 points, the Tiger boys were second with 66 points and the Wildcats were third with 49 points.
Lauren Carter sparked Bellefontaine’s girls with three individual wins. She took first in the 100 (13.08), the 200 (27.1) and the 400 (1:03.6). Zoe Price had two individuals win with the 100 hurdles (17.9) and the 300 hurdles (54.06), while Brooke McClellan also had two individual wins with the 1,600 (6:08.4) and the 3,200 (13:41.4).
