Bellefontaine’s boys soccer team grabbed its fourth straight win Wednesday after 1-0 victory against Kenton Ridge inside AcuSport Stadium.

The win moves the Chieftains to 4-4-1 overall and 4-1 in the CBC, while the Cougars slip to 2-4-2, 1-2-2.
“This was a huge game for us,” said BHS head coach Steve Henry. “We have struggled with Kenton Ridge for a long time and we knew that they would come ready to play. They are physical and fast.
“We had several chances, but couldn’t finish. Then we got another breakaway and finally snuck one in. Our defense really kept us in it. They were tested time and time again, but they never broke and we found a way to win.”
