Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 11:40 p.m. Sunday to multiple 911 calls reporting a large fight at Acheson’s Resort, 9050 Acheson Resort, Lakeview.
One injured individual, Brady Noble, 25, of Lima, was located in a passenger seat of a vehicle covered in blood, deputies said. He was found to have a serious eye injury and he was transported by Indian Lake EMS to a medical helicopter landing zone that was set up in the area of the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 13699 State Route 235.
Deputies said Noble related that several individuals had “jumped” him. He had to be warned several times about his “turbulent” behavior toward EMS personnel, deputies said. Noble was flown from the scene by CareFlight helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Deputies are still investigating possible assailants who were involved in the incident.
Witnesses were reporting a “mob of bar patrons” were involved.
• While also responding to the fight, deputies learned that a 26-year-old Urbana woman had allegedly been assaulted at the bar by a suspect named Keanu James, 26, of Lima.
They spoke with the female victim, who said she was being pursued most of the night by James. She said at one point, he became aggressive toward her and when she tried to walk away from him, he allegedly pushed her to the ground. The victim said she started hitting him in self defense, and then he struck her, which caught the attention of a number of bar patrons, who came to her assistance.
Deputies observed that the victim had a visible redness about her face, a small lump above her right eye and her legs were covered with scratches, abrasions and parking lot gravel dust.
Deputies said James fled the scene prior to their arrival and a warrant has been issued for his arrest on charges including misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct.
Also assisting with the bar incidents included a deputy of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office on a security detail there, a trooper of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and a Ohio Department of Natural Resources officer.
