Sidney police are seeking information about a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint early Tuesday.

A lone man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask brandished a handgun as he entered the Speedway gas station at 1501 St. Marys Ave. at 1:31 a.m., officers of the Sidney Police Department report.
He forced the store clerk to open the cash register and place money and a carton of cigarettes into a duffle bag he carried into the store with him.
The suspect, who is described as medium height and build, ran south once he exited the store.
The store clerk was not injured during the incident.
Police are asking assistance from the public in identifying the person involved. Anyone with information can call the Sidney Police Department at (937) 498-2351.
