Annette M. Finch, 44, of Urbana, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
She was born March 6, 1972, a daughter of Michael Joseph Finch and Stella Ann Williams.
Annette is survived by her mother, Stella Williams; sisters, Josetta (Kevin) Whitney and Michelle Amidon; nephews and nieces, Christopher (Ashley) Frantz, Bradley Frantz, Te’Arra (Malcolm) Kerns, Me’Isha Amidon and Emily Amidon; great-nephews and great-nieces, Houston, Lexton, Kodi and Rosa-Lyne; her dog, Baby; and numerous other family members in Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Finch; grandparents, Lee and Mary Jane O’Neal and Rose and Joe Finch; and her beloved dog, Angel.
Annette went to Lawnview in Urbana for many years. She gained many friends while attending the National Church Residences in Columbus and also was an artist at the Open Door Studio. She had a passion for painting and was very proud of her painting that sold to the Darby Dental Practice and now hangs on their wall in Mechanicsburg.
Annette was a genuine joy to be around and knew just how to wrap you around her finger in a matter of seconds. Her bright smile and quirkiness will be missed by all who knew her.
Viewing is from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 8, at Walter & Stowe Funeral Home, Urbana, with a service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, followed by burial at Oakdale Cemetery.
