Anna Marie Davis, 79, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
Anna was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Putnam County, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Loretta Verhoff Siebeneck. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Davis, and a son, Michael F. Oakley.
Anna is survived by three sons, Richard (Linda) Oakley and Thomas C. (Mary Kay) Oakley, both of Huntsville, and Kenny (Susie) Oakley of Belle Center; 11 grandchildren, Mindy Wapplehorst, Jessica (Jack) Lambert, Abby Jo Gerlach, Megan Gillespie, Gary (Jennifer) Sowders, Nicholas (Cortney) Oakley, Kristin Oakley, Amanda (Coleman) Downs, Blake Oakley, Wade Oakley and Sydney Oakley, 13 great-grandchildren, Paul, Jacob and Andrew Sowders, Harper and Hunter Oakley, Christopher and Caleb Timms, Drake Robinson, Ryder Hoskins, Jayden and Jillian Lambert, Wyatt Fleming and Kai Gerlach; four siblings, Louise (David) Stang of Sidney, Beatrice (James) Schaub of Wapakoneta, Bonnie (Richard) Quinn of Henniker, N.H., and Charles (Carol) Siebeneck of Lakeview; special friends, Doris Sheldon, Phyllis White and Al Myers; special cousin, Jean Pestel of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna was a 1957 graduate of Stokes Local Schools. She was an active member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point and served as sacristan for many years. Anna was also a member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Altar Sodality. She loved to cook and bake to share with others. She enjoyed gardening and floral arranging.
Rev. Shawn Landenwitch begins a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18,at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with visitation two hours prior to services. Inurnment will be at a later date in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul Society, Russells Point.
