Logan County’s newly forming animal advocacy group will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Logan County Solid Waste District, 1100 S. Detroit St.
Logan County Safe Haven, which began organizing after the closure of the Top of Ohio Pet Shelter earlier this year, is in the process of filing for its non-profit tax exemption and will discuss other issues, including a rummage sale fundraiser that is being planned and how to explore the possibility of getting a new shelter building.
Participants are invited to bring a dessert to share at the meeting.
