Residents living in several communities within the DPL electric utility area will have an opportunity to learn more about the community aggregation question that will appear on ballots this November.
Bellefontaine, along with Greenville and Covington, are the headlining communities in a network being created by the aggregate management group Affordable Gas and Electric, which got permission from the municipalities to place the issue on the ballot.
Other municipalities allowing their residents to vote for lower electricity rates include DeGraff, Quincy and Belle Center in Logan County; Anna and unincorporated Shelby County DPL customers; St. Paris, Ansonia, West Milton and unincorporated areas of Newberry Township.
