Caleb Westfall carded a two-round 135 to win the Liberty Championship at Liberty Hills Golf Club.
Westfall, a Mechanicsburg resident who will be a sophomore at the University of Findlay this fall, shot a first-round 68 on Saturday and followed with a 67 on Sunday. He finished at five-under-par for the tournament.
Cody Lyons and Nick Sims both shot 142, forcing a playoff for the runner-up spot. Sims birdied the third playoff hole to earn second place. Sims shot rounds of 75 and 67 and Lyons had rounds of 74 and 68.
Riley Wilcoxon and Greg McClellan both shot a 146 to share fourth place.
Earl Zilles turned in rounds of 79 and 71 for a 150 to win Flight I. Jeff Goings had a 152 for second, Lance Wilson had a 153 for third, Liam Harris shot 155 for fourth and Landon Williams had a 156 for fifth.
In Flight II, Denny Lane shot rounds of 75 and 73 to win with a 148. He was followed by Tony Fink (153), Chris Louth (159), Chris Bailey (159) and Robert Benavides (159).
Wes Edgar had a two-round total of 164 to win Flight III. Tim Penhorwood shot 171 for second, Rob Merritt had 173 for third and Mike Ringler and Jason Welsh had 179s to tie for fourth.
There were 60 golfers in this year’s tournament.
