Belle Center’s annual holiday event draws large crowd
Dan and Fran Shough had a good seat for the car and truck show Tuesday in Belle Center in conjunction with the Fourth of July festivities. But one thing was missing: an umbrella.

The DeGraff couple sat next to their bright red ’57 Chevy Bel Air as the noon sun shone bright on the more than 40 vehicles lining Keller Avenue.
Fair-skinned Mrs. Shough laughed she soon would be seeking some shade.
Mr. Shough has always been partial to ’57 Chevys, he said, and “always had a hot rod,” but there’s one vehicle he does miss.
“We had a ’55 convertible after we were married,” he said. “I’d like to have that one back.”
