Crews clean up the site of a one-vehicle, non-injury crash where a pickup blew a tire Thursday morning which led to a miles-long backup of eastbound traffic on U.S. Route 33. Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report Lester Antunez Cruz, 34, of Plymouth, Ind., was operating an eastbound pickup hauling a trailer when one of the pickup tires blew out. The driver lost control of the vehicle, and it struck a guardrail. The trailer overturned and came unhooked from the truck, and metal building materials reportedly were strewn across the roadway. Both the pickup and the trailer were towed from the scene. Neither alcohol nor drugs were factors in the crash, and no citations will be issued, troopers said. (EXAMINER PHOTO | JOEL E. MAST)
