Charles Dallas “Charlie” Sullivan, 72, of Belle Center, passed away at 7:27 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, in Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born in Hardin County, on July 18, 1949, a son of the late Richard Dallas and Fern Ann Tevis Sullivan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Sullivan.
On April 6, 1968, he married the former Jeanie Beatty and she survives in Belle Center. He is also survived by his two sons, Brian (Krista) Sullivan of Marysville and Corey (Brieanne) Sullivan of Kenton; seven grandchildren, Anthony (Leah) Sullivan, Caleb (Heaven) Sullivan, Amanda Sullivan, Tricia (Logan) Keeran, Katie Sullivan, Samantha Sullivan and Cain Sullivan; seven great-grandchildren, Joseph C. Sullivan, Grace Sullivan, Haylee Sullivan, Rosalynn Sullivan, Nolan Keeran, Luella Sullivan and Mason Keeran; two sisters, Delores (Gary) Mason of Oakwood and Brenda (Roger) Beaverson of Belle Center; a brother, Jerry (Janet) Sullivan of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charlie was a 1967 graduate of Belle Center High School and worked in the asphalt paving trade as a supervisor for Shelly Company and as an estimator for Quality Paving.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He attended the New Richland Baptist Church and enjoyed working on cars.
Pastors Steve Smith and Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at New Richland Baptist Church, 8651 County Road 39, Belle Center, where visitation is Monday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
