Bellefontaine Mayor Ben Stahler has expanded on his predecessor’s display of artwork at the Municipal Building with the first ever Mayor’s Art Award open house for 19 Bellefontaine City Schools students.
In 2013, former Mayor Adam Brannon worked with the former Cultural Arts Commission and the school to display noteworthy artwork along the second floor hallways.
Mayor Stahler and the school arts department will host a reception at 11 a.m. Saturday on the second floor.
The reception is expected to last less than an hour.
The artworks will be on display until April 30.
