This year I could feel the enthusiasm from the students, parents, and teachers as we were able to meet before school started. Last year the open house was canceled due to COVID-19.”
The elementary school’s physical education teacher Tiann Harner is ready to have her students back in the gym.
“To be here five days a week with the kids is really awesome,” Harner said. “My energy level is going to be high because I know the kids are all excited to be here. We all just have to do our best to stay healthy. I know the kids are excited to come back.”
The Benjamin Logan School District will begin without a mask mandate, however teachers and staff members are encouraged to wear a mask should they choose to.
The district staff is eager to return with a more traditional school year and in-person classes. It is the hope of the administration that everyone can stay in school.
