A mother who allegedly rolled over onto and suffocated her one-month-old daughter has been charged by a Logan County grand jury.
Haylee M. Parsley, 36, of Hilliard, faces charges of endangering children, a felony of the third degree; and involuntary manslaughter, a felony of the first degree, in an indictment handed up a week ago.
On April 25, emergency personnel were dispatched to 1119 Greenwood Street just before 5 a.m. and found Parsley and her unresponsive daughter. Detectives of the Bellefontaine Police Department also responded to interview Parsley and she voluntarily submitted to a blood draw for laboratory analysis.
The results of the testing show Parsley was impaired by alcohol.
The grand jury also handed up indictments charged 25 other people:
• Brayden L. Sinkford, 23, at large: aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree; aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the first degree; and tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree;
• Stephanie L. Aloe, 41, of Raymond: aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree; and tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree;
• Christopher R. Marker, 38, of Bellefontaine: two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, felonies of the fifth degree; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; and two counts of illegal use or possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors;
• Jill N. Miller, 40, of Harrod: two counts of aggravated theft, felonies of the third degree; one count of identity fraud, a felony of the second degree; and forgery, a felony of the third degree;
• Stoney Southard, 30, at large: breaking and entering, a felony of the fifth degree; and grand theft, a felony of the fourth degree;
• Christopher D. Woodall, 49, of Lakeview: theft from a person in a protected class, a felony of the fourth degree;
• Joshua L. Trace, 43, of Marion: breaking and entering, a felony of the fifth degree; attempted grand theft of a motor vehicle, a felony of the fifth degree; possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth degree; aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree; aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth degree; tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a felony of the second degree; trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a felony of the second degree; aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the third degree; and aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the third degree;
