Randall L. Cummings, 24, of Kenton, was transported by Perry Township EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries sustained in a crash Monday morning.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a northbound 2014 Ford Focus about 7:25 a.m. on State Route 292 near Township Road 141 when he drove off the right side of the road, striking a fence.
Cummings was cited for failure to control and was wearing his seat belt, deputies said. Damage was moderate to his vehicle, which was towed from the scene.
• Jordan C. Russell, 33, of Bellefontaine, also was cited for failure to control related to a non-injury crash about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies report he was operating a northbound 2017 Honda Accord on County Road 152 near State Route 347 when he traveled off the left side of the road into a ditch. His vehicle then struck a utility pole, not causing any damage to the pole.
Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing his seat belt.
