Bellefontaine High School has recently been named a 2021 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms Grant recipient. The school will receive $5,000 to purchase physical education equipment to improve and expand course offerings.
James Howell, BHS physical education teacher, lead the grant-writing effort and is looking forward to observing the program in action.
“We are so grateful to receive Cash for Classrooms Grant and are excited to see our department grow in its ability to offer students a variety of experiences,” he said.
“The health and wellness of our students is so important, especially in today’s climate,” BHS Principal Dr. Pam Noeth said. “We are thankful for the Casey’s Cash for Classrooms Grant program and appreciate their partnership in our community.
“Also, I appreciate the vision of Mr. Howell and our Physical Education Department in working together to make this happen for our students.”
