Jeremy J. Myers, 27, of 11400 Powhatan Path, Lakeview, and Crystal D. Stevens, 27, at large, were arrested on drug charges and warrants after a Thursday traffic stop.
Myers was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and lodged on a probation violation while Stevens was charged with possession of methamphetamine; illegal possession of prescription pills; possession of drug abuse instruments; and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also was served a warrant for failure to appear.
An officer of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed Stevens sitting in a parked sport utility vehicle at Village Pantry, 200 E. Sandusky Ave., around 1:30 p.m. and knew she was wanted on the warrant.
The officer made contact with both and found a used hypodermic syringe in his right front pants pocket.
Other officers arrived on scene and found multiple smalls baggies containing methamphetamine and several prescription narcotic pills in a plastic bag in Stevens’ belongings. They also located a small pouch bag containing multiple hypodermic syringes, one of which was loaded with methamphetamine; and a pipe for abusing methamphetamine.
Both were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Summons, warrants served
Matthew A. Schaefer II, 22, of 221 Ludlow Road, was charged Monday with public indecency after officers viewed a neighbor’s video surveillance recordings that show Schaeffer urinating from a second story window around 11:50 a.m.
• Ryan M. Petty, 28, of 304 W. Sandusky Ave., was served Thursday with a misdemeanor summons for using weapons while intoxicated.
