Funeral services for Marion Fogle-Anderson, 96, of Kenton, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Rev. Randall Forester officiating. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
She died on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at Blanchard Place in Kenton. She was born on Sept. 23, 1924, in Mt. Sterling, to the late James and Josephine (Gabriel) Dozer. She married Lowell D. Fogle on Aug. 21, 1941, and he preceded her in death in July of 1979.
She then married Willis Anderson and he survives.
Also surviving are a son; Daren (Cheryl) Fogle of Kenton, three daughters; Gerry Waugh of Marysville, Sue (Jerry) Walters of West Liberty, Cindy (Bob) Culver of Louden, Tenn., 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother; William Dozer, two sisters; Virginia Dowdy, Charlotte Morehead, a great-granddaughter; Shelby Crews, and two sons-in-law; Sandy Waugh and Bob Leopard.
Marion worked for the Supervalue Grocery Store in Kenton for 14 years and as a hostess for the Plaza Inn later in life.
She was a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton, the Culture Club in Kenton and the West Mansfield King’s Daughters club for 50 years.
Marion loved people and never knew a stranger. She was made an Ambassador of Blanchard Place to help make new residents more comfortable.
She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She also loved to listen to music and dance, especially square dancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton, the West Mansfield Methodist Church or the First United Methodist Church in Kenton.
