The Calvary Christian boys basketball team took third place in the Ohio Christian Schools Athletic Association state tournament.
Calvary fell to New Hope 56-38 in the state semifinals. Isaac Reinhard led the Spartans with 14 points. Ethan Carter had six points and Garrett Reinhard and Thomas Rorrer each had four points.
The Spartans then beat First Baptist of Elyria 50-45. Calvary trailed 25-21 at halftime, but battled back in the second half to get the win.
Isaac Reinhard led the winners with 16 points and Garrett Reinhard had 13 points. Xavier Daniels had eight points, Thomas Rorrer scored five points and Titus Davie added three points. Calvary finished the season with a 24-8 record.
