Gathering Grounds coffee shop, 337 E. Main St., Russells Point, donated all proceeds Saturday from sales to offset funeral expenses for the family of Courtney Hubbard, an Indian Lake High School student that passed away Jan. 28. In addition to being active in band, Courtney also volunteered at the coffee shop. A total of $5,060.16 was was raised in support of Courtney’s family. “Not only did Lakers come out to support one of their own, but neighbors from Bellefontaine, West Liberty, Riverside, Ben Logan and elsewhere came, too,” Gathering Grounds staff reported.
