Two arrested in traffic stops
Hannah R. Lykins, 27, of 15693 State Route 720, Lakeview, was arrested Thursday on a probation violation after a 9:30 p.m. traffic stop.
She was observed sitting in the passenger seat of a car which was parked facing the wrong way along a street in the northwest part of the city.
The officer knew she was under a court-ordered curfew of 8 p.m. and initiated the stop after the car was driven from the area.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Jack H. Fox II, 50, at large, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia after a 2:55 p.m. traffic stop Wednesday on Ludlow Road. He was cited for driving under suspension and no operator’s license.
While talking with Fox, the officer observed a piece of gray plastic commonly used to package black tar heroin on the driver’s floorboard of the car.
Fox consented to a search of himself and the car. A burnt spoon with heroin residue was found in a back pocket of his jeans. The piece of plastic and hypodermic needle were recovered from the car.
He was lodged in jail.
