Officials from the Logan County Engineer’s Office report that the bridge located on County Road 21 between county roads 77 and 24 in Pleasant Township has been re-opened following a temporary closure. A recent inspection revealed that the bridge’s structural capacity is compromised, officials said. The engineer’s office reported Thursday that recent repairs made to the span have enabled crews to open it back up to traffic. The public is reminded that there is a three-ton weight limit on the bridge. (EXAMINER PHOTO | NATE SMITH)
