Justin C. Seaman, 38, of 11545 Ash St., Lakeview, was charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing as a results of an incident Saturday at his residence.
Deputies, along with Russells Point Police Department and Ohio Department of Natural Resources officers, each responded to his address about 10:25 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute reported by his wife, who said Seaman was intoxicated. She also said he tore up the residence and that he had retrieved firearms.
Officers and deputies reportedly ordered Seaman out of the home at gunpoint and he was taken into custody without incident.
Inside the home, deputies recovered a pump action shotgun and rifle. They observed that the kitchen bar stool was broken into pieces and that in a bedroom, many items had been disturbed.
His wife told deputies that during an argument, her husband had held her down in the living room couch. She said he never pointed the firearms at her and that she was not injured.
Seaman told deputies that he had been cleaning the firearms. He was lodged in the jail.
• Tommy D. Langston, 49, was issued a summons for aggravated menacing, and his wife, Leanne M. Langston, 39, was issued a summons for domestic violence related to an incident Monday at their residence, 1341 State Route 508, West Liberty
Deputies and a West Liberty Police Department officer responded about 5:30 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute possibly involving a firearm.
While at the residence, deputies located a firearm in between the cushions of a couch in the living room.
Neither Mrs. Langston nor her husband would admit responsibility for pulling the gun from its holster in a bedroom, but both blamed the other party.
Mrs. Langston agreed to leave the residence for the evening.
• Kimberly A. Clark, 53, of 3360 Bell Road, Huntsville, was charged with domestic violence related to an incident about 8:50 a.m. Saturday involving her roommate.
Her roommate told deputies that Clark had pushed her in the chest and then punched her in the face and ripped her shirt. Deputies observed scratches on her chest and face.
Clark had also sustained injuries to her wrist and face from the fight. Huntsville EMS responded to the home and both women refused transport to the hospital. Clark was placed under arrest and lodged in the jail.
