Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s were dispatched to the Logan County Board of Elections Tuesday afternoon on a report of a suspicious letter received by the office.
Personnel at the local elections board reported an anonymous letter had been sent the office with no return address.
“We did receive a letter in the mail that gave us pause so to error on the side of caution we had the deputy come to review it,” the board of elections reported, adding there were “no scam or phishing issues.”
Content of the letter was disguised as rambling in nature, and concerned national politics, making no local references.
