Local walkers like Mary Owen of Bellefontaine contributed about 50,000 steps to the the 10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls campaign conducted on Thursday by STEADY U Ohio. The Logan County Health District organized the local lunch hour walk at Blue Jacket Park, which drew about two dozen walkers from the health department, the Bellefontaine Water Department and other citizens.
