Two drivers and a passenger were transported Wednesday morning by Indian Lake squads to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash.
Driver Alfonzo Gilliam, 83, and his passenger, Gregory Ward, 57, of Dayton, and driver Jennifer N. Briggs, 20, of St. Marys, each was transported for non-incapacitating injuries.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Ms. Briggs was operating a southbound car on State Route 235 about 8:45 a.m. when she attempted to make a left-hand turn into the Honda Transmission Manufacturing driveway .
Her vehicle was struck by a northbound pickup operated by Mr. Gilliam. The impact pushed her car into a third vehicle, a car in the HTM driveway that was waiting to make a turn, operated by Denise E. Steed, 61, of Lewistown.
Ms. Steed did not report any injuries. Each of the occupants was wearing a seat belt. Damage was heavy to the pickup and the Briggs car, and light to the Steed vehicle.
Ms. Briggs was cited for failure to yield.
