A Logan County grand jury handed up indictments Tuesday charging two Indian Lake-area men in a June 27 robbery in which a woman was struck with a baseball bat and robbed of her employer’s daily receipts.
Tyler L. Oakley, 23, at large, and Skyler D. Stoneburner, 21, of 630 Grand Ave., Russells Point, each was charged with one count of first-degree felony of aggravated robbery.
A female employee was closing up and left Woody’s Diner, 7838 State Route 366, Russells Point, around 10 p.m. when she was attacked by a man with a baseball bat. She had the day’s receipts with her. She sustained a contusion on one of her arms.
Detectives of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Russells Point and Washington Township police departments were able to identify and locate the two suspects about two weeks after the robbery.
