Indian Lake Elementary School kindergartner Holly Wolf enters the kindergarten pod on the 100th day of school through the giant 100 entrance wearing her robe to depict what she might look like at age 100. First-graders celebrated their 100th day of school one day earlier with a variety of physical and academic activities. First grader Tyler Ferguson wore 100 bandaids on his shirt that read “I survived 100 days of school!” The students got to choose from several fun tasks for 100th Day Bingo that incorporated the number 100, including licking a lollypop 100 times, standing still for 100 seconds, dancing for 100 seconds and running in place for 100 seconds. They also performed academic tasks including writing numbers to 100, counting 100 beans, and naming patterns to 100. First-, second- and thirdgraders also created bulletin boards with their writing activities detailing 100 reasons they love school at ILES.
