The party was on as Indian Lake Elementary School students marked 100 days of school this week. ILES first- and second-grade celebrated the 100th Day on Thursday, and kindergarten classes celebrated on Friday. During the celebrations, students got to choose from several fun tasks for 100th Day Bingo that incorporated the number 100, including licking a lolly pop 100 times, running in place for 100 seconds and tossing a beanbag 100 times. They also performed academic tasks, including writing numbers to 100, coloring 100 pizza toppings, and even some karaoke. Kindergarteners entered their pod through a giant “100 run through” with bubbles and they brought 100 items with them to school. Several students also created and wrote about what they will look and be like when they reach 100 years of age. (INDIAN LAKE SCHOOLS PHOTOS)
